Price First Taxis Celebrates Love Local Taxi & Private Hire Week in Torbay
Price First Taxis is proud to be taking part in Love Local Taxi & Private Hire Week, a national campaign celebrating the important role local taxi and private hire businesses play in communities across Torbay and the UK.
For generations, taxis and private hire vehicles have helped people get to work, school, appointments, nights out and home safely. They provide an essential service for people without access to their own transport, support local jobs and businesses, and help keep communities connected.
As a locally owned and operated business, Price First Taxis is using the week to celebrate the people who help keep Torbay moving: our customers, drivers, office staff, local businesses and community organisations.

Price First Taxis supports the community in a number of ways, including fundraising for Rowcroft Hospice, sponsorship of Torquay United, regular app offers for customers, dog-friendly vehicles and support for SEN transport across the Bay.
During Love Local Taxi & Private Hire Week, Price First Taxis will be running a range of offers, giveaways and community activities.
Throughout the week, the company will share daily social-media posts celebrating local businesses, drivers, office staff and the role local taxis play in Torbay. Customers will also be able to access app-only promo codes, special offers and giveaway opportunities.
The week will include a Driver Appreciation Day, with thank-you bags, refreshments and prize giveaways for drivers, alongside a Staff Appreciation Day to recognise the office team working behind the scenes around the clock.
Price First Taxis will also launch a Local Heroes Giveaway, inviting people to nominate someone in Torbay who deserves recognition. This could be a carer, teacher, volunteer, hospitality worker, neighbour or anyone who goes above and beyond for others.
The week will finish with a free Family Fun Day outside the Price First Taxis office on Saturday 11 July.
Families can meet Buzz between 11am and 2pm, enter a colouring competition and enjoy free cakes, balloons, stickers and photo opportunities.
