We are looking for a polite, confident, customer-focused person to join the team, experience in the following areas will benefit: telesales, administration, logistics or reception roles. Candidate must have the ability to prioritse tasks. We are currently looking for a full-time member or two part time people to join the team.
Availability/Hours:
It is preferred that the candidate will be able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
The hour’s available are 35+ per week, there maybe less or more hours avalible, please discuss on interview. If you are looking to apply on a part time basis, please specify on application.
Paid training will start swiftly, and we will be looking to integrate the right candidate as soon as possible.
What the job entails?
You would initially train and start off in a telephonist role, this entails: To answer incoming calls, dealing with customers face to face, checking bookings, ensuring all needs of the customer are met where possible, entering the bookings into the computer system and assisting with the coordination of drivers, you will also be dealing with general inquiries from customers in the office, by phone and email. Other office tasks include handling confidential paperwork, handling driver documents, organising cover for busy periods, etc
This is can be a fast-paced role, being able to think on your feet and handle call after call is a standard part of the job role.
After fully trained as a telephonist, you will then take up control training which also comes with a higher rate of pay. This would require you to analyse the jobs that are pre-booked, and allocate them to correct drivers while planning what they can do next. Planning, planning, planning, this is why we are the best rated in the bay because we ensure we can honour our bookings that customers have pre-booked. So if you like your problem solving and organising then this is the role for you.
Good knowledge of the area would be an advantage but isn’t essential. The applicant would need to be computer literate with a reasonable spelling ability.
